Calling All Voices Spoken Word / Poetry Slam Competition 

Because the climate crisis isn’t just about science – it’s also about you and creative expression. Use poetry, rhythm, and voice to make complex issues clear, powerful, and unforgettable. Because your voice has the power to change everything. 

Turn your words into wildfire! We are inviting poets, artists, storytellers, and changemakers to take the mic and raise their voices for the most urgent cause of our time:

Whether you spit bars about climate justice, craft metaphors about what is happening in your community, or channel ancestral wisdom into lyrical environmental messaging about climate solutions, this stage is yours.

Examples of environmental spoken word/poetry slam: 

To participate in the Spoken Word/Poetry Slam, your team will be required to provide a video (up to three minutes) of your submission by February 13th, 2026. All submissions will be scored. Finalists will present at the May 21st, 2026 Massachusetts Envirothon.

Multiple types of awards and recognitions will be offered. Details to come.
